A Level Subjects

The majority of our students follow three subjects over the two years in the Sixth Form. Students will have the opportunity to take an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). We are proud of the range of subjects available at A Level. Lessons in Key Stage 5 are considerably different to those in Key Stage 4. Classes are smaller and more academically challenging with a great emphasis on independent learning. We encourage students to opt for subjects they think they will enjoy and in conjunction with clear advice about which combination fits their ability and higher education choices.

Listed below are courses that are likely to be available in September 2020, please click on the subject for course information:

Art Music

The presentation below was delivered to Year 11 students on Monday 21st January. This formed part of their ‘Revision Day’ and included information on their Post-16 options in order to help them in the decision making process. More information on A Level choices will be available at the Into Key Stage 5 evening or from the Sixth Form team.
